Overview:
AEI Media Ltd is the company behind a number of leading electronic music (specifically “bass music”) brands: UKF, Drum&BassArena, This Is Dubstep and Get Darker.

We're growing rapidly and are looking for someone to manage and maintain all accounting functions for the company.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
Maintain both sales and purchase ledgers for the company
Sales Invoicing including processing invoices onto the accounts system (Sage 50) and credit control
Coding and entering purchase invoices/staff expenses onto sage
Supplier payments, including maintaining good relationships with suppliers
Entering bank transactions onto sage, and monthly bank reconciliations for all accounts (inc PayPal & Cardnet accounts)
Quarterly VAT Returns
Posting monthly journals, e.g. Salaries
Income tracking, to ensure all incomes are invoiced and collected
Paper Processing and Filing
Ensuring that income/costs are coded to the correct nominal and project code for reporting purposes
Preparing Project P&L’s
Secondary Responsibilities:
HR Administration (maintaining staff records, holidays, etc)
Some office and facilities management
Key Qualifications/Experience:
The candidate must be AAT qualified/Part qualified ACCA/CIMA, with at least 5 years’ experience working in an accounts environment. This would ideally be within a music/media company.
Self-driven, results-oriented with a positive outlook, and a clear focus on high quality and business value.
Personable, team player.
