AEI Media Ltd is the company behind a number of leading electronic music (specifically “bass music”) brands: UKF, Drum&BassArena, This Is Dubstep and Get Darker. If you’re reading this, then chances are you’ve heard our releases on the radio, engaged with one of our Youtube channels, bought one of our compilation albums, or attended one of our parties. We host events around the world ranging from intimate 500 capacity product launches, to the UK’s largest all-night indoor raves.

We’re looking for an energetic and well-organised individual, with a fastidious attention to detail to co-ordinate the day-to-day operations of our rapidly growing live division. Reporting to the Head of Events & Tours, the responsibilities for this role include:

Promotion:


  • Producing and coordinating detailed promotion campaigns for our events.
  • Implementing an agreed data strategy for all our events
  • Creating design briefs
  • Production and Content creation:


  • Arranging recces of venues prior to our events to ensure that all in venue production opportunities are taken advantage of.
  • Making sure we take advantage of all opportunities to brand our events with our own production resources
  • Making arrangements with the venue and AEI production team to facilitate good content creation.
  • Making arrangements with the venue and the AEI production team to ensure successful webcasts of events
  • Liaising with the venue and promoter to make sure we take advantage of all merchandising opportunities
  • Event logistics:


  • Liaising with venue technical teams to ensure all acts have the correct equipment.
  • Ensuring all acts have correct information and itineraries
  • Finance:


  • Creating a P&L forecast for each event and updating as costs come in, and carrying it through to final settlement
  • Cash handling, collection and banking
  • Skills & Qualities sought


    Energy and enthusiasm are more important than experience, but the following qualities should be considered essential:
  • High level of numeracy and computer literacy (Spreadsheets, Excel, Word)
  • Solid understanding of social media (Facebook, Twitter, etc)
  • Ability to work quickly and accurately
  • Proven organizational skills
  • Ability to take on a task and see it through to completion
  • Flexible, Hard-working
  • Basic understanding of event sound and lighting
  • Interest and knowledge in the bass music genres
