Now in its seventh year, the Drum & Bass Awards – managed and organised by the same behind the carnage-guaranteed promoters of Raveology – celebrates every aspect of the drum & bass scene while hosting an unforgettable party in the process. Held annually in Birmingham, in the past the event has been broadcast live on both Radio1 and Sky TV.
In a recent interview with Drum&BassArena, the show’s main organiser MC Magika explained how our own brand’s awards (Drum&BassArena Awards) and his awards worked together in a rather neat, complementary tandem. With such a large pool of talent working hard throughout every aspect of drum & bass (from labels to MCs to promoters), there’s definitely enough to celebrate to necessitate two award ceremonies.
And this year we’re proud to announce that AEI’s flagship legacy brand Drum&BassArena successfully picked up two
of the highest accolades: The brand achieved Best Website/Magazine and the brand founder James Cotterill (known in the drum & bass community at large as The Risky) was recognised for a Behind The Scenes Lifetime Achievement.
